A solid choice for plant-based protein
This organic pea protein isolate is exactly what I wanted. Pure, simple, and high quality. It blends smoothly into my shakes without any chalky or gritty texture. The taste is mild and earthy but not overpowering which makes it easy to mix with anything.I appreciate that it is organic and free from fillers or artificial ingredients. It digests well and does not cause any stomach issues like some other plant proteins can.If you want a reliable clean plant-based protein that actually works this is a solid choice. Highly recommend. I have a subscription for this it’s so good. Will note: high iron content

Lots of protein, good sauce thickener
Taste : none, sort of, benign pea powder taste, whatever that isConsistency :in gravies and sauces, 1 scoop is a perfect thickener, recommendin smoothies, mushy consistency with micro fine grit, would not use more than 1 scoop which is a half serving, or 15g of proteinalso in smoothies, seems to make the flavor of blueberries dissapearseems to increase flatulance (farts), a bitall in all, it has a ridiculously large amount of protein for low calories, including the elusive methionine, and one can literally thicken soups with it and make flapjacks with it, so recommendUpdate : makes incredible little dumplings in cream of cellery, broccoli, and egg drop soup. It's literally an awesome cooking ingredient.

Highly recommend this organic pea protein! You'll get used to the flavor quickly
An incredible source of all-natural, organic, GMO-free, vegan, unflavored, vegetable (yellow pea) protein with no added ingredients whatsoever (hence the word "solo" on the top of the label). I think "Solo" should be removed from the title because it makes people think that's the name of the company when this product is actually made by Folona, not a company called "Solo." The first few times I used this product I struggled with the flavor, even gagged the first time I drank it, but after a few times using it I quickly got accustomed to the flavor and texture. It will clump and be overly thick unless properly mixed because there are no declumping agents added (only ingredient is the pea protein). I used a milk frother designed for lattes and cappuccinos, though a blender would also work.I appreciate that this protein powder is from peas grown in Canada rather than the United States. 99% of farms in the US use dangerous, non-organic, toxic herbicides, pesticides, fertilizers as well as other nasty chemicals. Only ~1% of farmland is the US is organic, a frighteningly low figure, that can be increased by only buying organic foods — demand increases the availability of organic foods and reduces the area of non-organic farmland.RoundUp (glyphosate) has an insanely long half-life rendering it effectively non-biodegradable and one of the "forever chemicals" to avoid at all costs. Any farmers using non-organic farmland today who want to switch to organic won't be able to effectively do so for years, if ever, because of the glyphosate content, and other chemicals, in the soil. Indoor cultivation and hydroponics are ways US-grown food/plants can avoid the toxic/forever chemicals in the soil. I prefer buying food grown in European countries (glyphosate has been outlawed in most of the EU for years) or Canada where I believe glyphosate is used less frequently and therefore I hope there is much less glyphosate in the soil and thus less in this product.I'm amazed at the amount of protein per serving (30 grams!) for only two scoops of powder. The size of the container is great because it's actually nearly full so very little wasted space which I appreciate. I also like that this product has a significant amount of iron (one serving has 55% of the RDA) which is difficult for me, as a vegetarian, to get enough of in my diet everyday.Compared to the Terrasoul brand organic GMO-free pea protein powder, I strongly prefer this Folona brand powder in terms of price, consistency, and taste. I will definitely buy this product again. I'm very happy to have found a vegan/vegetarian-friendly source of protein. I also love the fact that the amino acid breakdown is listed on the label indicating exactly how much, in grams, there is of every essential and non-essential amino acid. Very helpful for those who track their calories and nutrient intake.

Perfect protein powder
This is very versatile to blend w/ fruit or veggies as it is unflavored. It doesn’t have that weird after taste of sugar substitutes. It’s a little more calories than the last protein powder I tried before but not extremely high in calories. It does have a little bit of a grainy texture but not so much to be off putting. It is a large container has 32 servings so it is fairly reasonably priced. Think this is my favorite & will purchase it again.

Buy this one! This one has it all!
I purchased this to replace whey protein powder for more of a plant based alternative and greater health benefits via the excellent amino acid profile of this brand. Also the protein content is favorable with very low sodium compared to others. The large container is full to the top, unlike others. It mixes well and easily in a blender and does not clump, even if you make a smoothie ahead of time and leave it in an insulated cup for lunch like I do. I ordered unflavored. It is essentially unnoticeable. At first it does seem a bit chalky if you aren’t used to pea protein but I did get used to that quickly. I’m more interested in the health benefits anyway. Mouth feel and taste are not what I focus on. Everything we eat does not need to be a wonderful taste experience. Food as medicine is the value statement of this product. Will buy again.

Loving it 👍
Actually makes for a really great protein shake. It took me a little trial and error to find the right flavors to combine to make it taste super good but I found the right combo and now am loving and look forward to my morning protein shake. It is filling and satisfying. Holds me over for normally up to 2-3 hours. Depending how hungry I am! Just note - definitely tastes funky if you don’t find the right flavors to combine. I use it daily with vanilla or peach flavored yogurt and almond butter and it’s very tasty. Sometimes I add cacao powder as well.

Good price for the product. I feel safe with gluten-free flour., and use it with many recipes
This is wonderful to use because it’s easy on the body and I always love plant based since I’m a vegan, but even for those that are not vegan it’s a good protein to put in with your smoothies, soups, and other dishes.

Pretty good, depends on what you mix it with
Worked in carrot cake muffins, sweet potato waffles, and tropical smoothies with mango, pineapple, and/or strawberries + spinach + coconut milk. When mixed with just water, oat milk, or a light flavored juice the pea taste is pronounced. Doesn’t aggravate my SIBO though, so I am happy enough with it. May try out some other brands (like Anthony’s) to see if green pea isolate tastes better.
