Bought these to hold up the rear hatch of my car and they work better than the originals.

they fit and kept the bin doors open.

Worked perfectly after I tweaked it a little by unscrewing the ends and attaching my original ones allowing me to use screws for installing. The price is great when compared to the one purchased at the auto parts store.

Was a perfect replacement for my old strut. Easy to install.

Seem well made, but way too strong for our tool chest lid. Wow, super hard to compress. Not sure what you would use these on. Maybe a car or an SUV hatch? We would definitely bend or damage our toolbox lid trying to use these, not to mention breaking one's jaw if you were too close to the lid when it flew open. we will try a lighter load strut and report back.

Works as well as the high dollar struts. It was a little long but I just had to move the bracket down a couple of inches and it fit perfectly.

You'd think something rated for 90lbs would be built with a thicker bar. Long story short, I put it on a cover valet hot tub lift and the silver bars bent like a pretzel. They are thinner than my 40lb rated ones it used to have that weren't quite strong enough to hold the cover upright.
