As good as the original
I love samsung products and I wouldn't have any other brand other TV. My phone, tablets, washing machine, and microwave oven are all Samsung. But when it comes to their TV remote controls, they're not that great. I've 4 Samsung televisions and the remotes get a lot of use. Unfortunately, I've found I've had to replace the original remotes after 5 or 6 years, so I've bought a few of these, and they've all been just as good as the original.The battery life in them is very good and the buttons are all clearly named. The button to light up the sound and channel buttons is a bit pointless, but they are definitely great value remotes to be able to keep watching our TVs.

Doesn't work with all Samsung TV's
Thus unit is advertised as working with all Samsung TV's, I'm here to tell you this is incorrect. I sent this to my 83 year old Mum and told her that she only needed to add batteries and it will work out of the box (sellers guarantee). Mum did as instructed and all she got was "no signal, no signal" each time she tried to run up the channels!!I contacted the seller to ask for a solution....this us what they told me..If there is a streaming stick or DVD attached to the TV it will interfere with the signal and the unit will not function!!! Have you heard anything like this in your life....no, neither have I.They offered to send another unit if there was no DVD or streaming stick attached to Mum's TV......well Mum is intending to buy a DVD player so, NO, a replacement wouldn't be any good.....I cannot believe in this day of great technology you have a supplier stating that their unit doesn't work if a DVD or streaming stick is added to a TV, well HELLO! The unit doesn't work on all Samsung TV's as claimed, even those without a DVD or Streaming stick attached.....Time to update your listingDON'T YOU THINK!!
