Johari West Indo Sapphire Tropical Cotton Shirt

I like this shirt so much that I bought 4 more, and I will probably buy 4 more. I am about 6'1, 220 pounds, and usually wear a XXL (USA size) button shirt. The XXL Johari is slightly too big for me, but I like big shirts in the summer. The XXL Tall is definitely too long, but I still like it. I see a lot of complaints here that the stitching is too weak or that the material is too thin. These aren't meant to be thick Carhartt working shirts. These are relaxing shirts for when the temperature is above 90 degrees F. They are perfect for that. I WASH ALL OF MY JOHARI SHIRTS TOGETHER, COLD WATER, DELICATE CYCLE, AND DRY LOW HEAT DELICATE. I HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH SHRINK OR RIPS. NO NEED TO IRON, NO WRINKLES if taken out of the dryer when finished. I also see complaints that the colors fade or bleed or are not exactly like the photo. I like this also. It means that I have a unique shirt that isn't exactly like all of the others. A blue one that I ordered was actually more green than blue in the photo, but it was a cool green. Quality shirts, which is rare when buying Hawaiian or islander shirts. Instead of looking like a tourist in a cheap Hawaiian shirt, you will look and feel like a true islander.

I bought one Johari West shirt about a year ago and loved it so much I got several more in assorted patterns/colors. The 100% cotton is very comfortable to wear, but also is fairly heavy so it feels like quality. There was no detectable shrinkage after laundering, no foul odors, no bleeding of the dye, no loose or missing buttons, and the overall quality of the construction is flawless. These are my new favorite shirts.Thanks, Johari, for making a truly quality garment at a reasonable price, in fun patterns that are appropriate for work and play.

Material is comfortable and the pattern is colorful but the workmanship quality is low. Two buttons unthreaded shortly after the return-by date had passed.

Looks and feels terrific.

Purchased these shirts for my husband. He loves them, very comfortable and he looks great in them. I will also add they are very easy to wash and dry, they hold up nicely no fading minimal wrinkling.

Wow, I love this shirt! I was looking for something short-sleeved, thin and casual for the brutal NYC summer, and the word HAWAIIAN popped into my head. Don't know why--I'm NOT a Hawaiian shirt kind of guy. But this summer is soooo hot...so I came to Amazon and looked at the array, and this company (Johari West) has the best-looking ones. I finally chose the Indo Sapphire print, a nice dark aquamarine pattern on black, hoping it would look as good in real life as the picture, and it does! It arrived a few days ago, and it's now my fave article of clothing. I went to the supermarket in it yesterday, and 2 people actually came up to me and asked me where I got it! (In NYC, talking to a stranger is a big deal.)I'm definitely ordering more of these. They're lightweight, with a roomy fit and a nice, masculine look. The somewhat pricey price is warranted--the cotton is good quality, and the stitching is excellent. (My folks owned a clothing store.) If you're looking for a cool summer shirt that isn't all parrots and pineapples and palm trees, try the Johari line. They're really beautiful.

If it's good enough for Harry Truman, I guess a Hawaiian shirt is good enough for me.
