This is a rare design occurance for me with this collection; the inspiration were the materials themselves and the design of the collection flowed from them. I think rose gold fill wire is my new favorite metal-and it is not easy to come by. It took me over a year to finally find the rose gold fill chain which is integral to this earring and was very frustrating to the creative process. I think the Collection was worth the wait. It is called Tundra Collection after the Amazing Tundra Sapphires which are the focal gemstones. Shades of golds, yellows, greens, olive, mauve, reds-all shade variations within this one amazing precious stone. They are wrapped and dangle from amazing rose gold fill length chain in staggered lengths to give a stunning cascade effect Complemented beautifully with high quality freshwater pearls in shades of green, purple,and peach. All wire wrapping is done with fine gauge 14 karat gold fill wire; I really love the two tone effect with the Rose Gold.
