AquaVor 1.5 gallon Watering Can with Built-in Fertilizer Dispenser

I was really excited to receive this can. Easy, mess-free fertilizing? So stoked. I filled the pump bottle with fish fertilizer, filled out the sticker with the proper measurements for each type of plant, measured out the fertilizer, filled to the line with water, and got to fertilizing my fruit trees. I did notice that the pump coats the inside of the white bit with fertilizer, but I just hosed out the white bit and rinsed it into the can. No big deal.So I finish fertilizing my trees and I notice the can smells worse than it should, so I look inside and I see that the inside wall under the white bit the pump squirts into is coated in fertilizer. Weird, I think. I must have accidentally pressed the pump. So I rinse the inside of the white bit and the interior wall below it with water and go find something else to fertilize, being really careful not to touch the pump. Afterwards, I look inside, and same thing! I do this a couple more times just to be certain, and the result is consistent.At this point I realize that this pump is dripping concentrated fertilizer into the watering can the entire time it’s tilted for watering. So in order to avoid over fertilizing my plants and leaving a fetid mess in the can, I now have to pump the fertilizer, pop the bottle neck out, spin the pump head so it points backward, and pop the bottle neck back in. This always spatters some fertilizer, so I have to wear clothes I don’t care about. Not mess-free, and not even particularly easy.Do yourself a favor. Don’t buy this piece of junk. Instead, just buy a pump lid for your fertilizer bottle. One that pumps in teaspoons like this one does. Use that with your favorite watering can. You’ll be much happier.

I've been using this for a few months and my outdoor fuchsias and gardenias have never had so many blooms. I dissolved some powdered fertilizer in water to make a concentrate to fill the pump sprayer. I still haven't had to refill- long lasting when you just pump twice each time you fill watering can. It is a bit heavy, and the fertilizer compartment took some wiggling to attach, but overall I love it since my plants are thriving. Also nice that the rotating spout never gets lost since it is attached to the spout (not that I use the fine holes very often.)

I use this to lightly fertilize the flowers in the window boxes. It is not too heavy and easy to handle.

This is a well-built watering can with a built-in fertilizer dispenser. The rosette was a little tough to push around the first time but after that it works really well. It allows me to pour a little rain shower pattern or I can open it up to a full pour. And I never lose it. The main thing that I like about it, is that I remember to feed my plants every time I water and they look great.

We love our new Aquavor. No fuss, no mess easy to use and don't need to touch any fertilizer. Absolutely love this new watering device which pours the water out at a perfect flow. It also has a spout that can pour the water out in a shower like stream, really cool.Thanks for the watering can. I will be looking for new products from this company.

Great product and wonderful customer service. I am quite impressed with their responsiveness and quick reply to my email. I love being able to fertilize and water at the same time. It is a well made watering can so I expect this to last quite some time.

I bought it for my wife and she loves it. I like the solid construction and light weight. She says she can fertilize and water her plants with more control and no mess or mixing. Great product.

This is the handiest, most well design garden tool I've ever had. Makes feeding your plants so easy. I given them as gifts to my gardening friends and they make a big hit.
