Seems to be a good survival bracelet for someone who frequents lakes
Although this can't truly be rated until it's used, and let's hope that never happens.... I bought two of these bracelets as gifts.I can say I reviewed several similar products and choose this particular survival kit because it1. Would be easy to keep handy at all times, whether that be in the glove-box, a backpack or on a wrist while hiking.2. It had tools that would be useful to the people who were receiving it.3. There's a good chance that, if a survival kit were needed, they'd be in a place where these tools would be beneficial.4. Good weight limit for the paracord5. Working compass (as opposed to some similar survival kits)This was an Unboxed item which I knew when I purchased it. However, without a box identifying the product and since you can't see that this is a survival kit, both people who received this as a gift, were a bit confused when they opened this. There is a folded piece of paper describing the item but it really didn't seem to match what they were looking at.Seeing this online and reading about it here, seemed to be a much better marketing tool.I'm not sure what would have happened if I wasn't there when these gifts were opened.....

Perfect gift for my buddy who drives a lot
I got this for my buddy for his birthday, and he loved it. He had no idea it was packed with so many useful tools until I showed him a list of everything inside. he doesn't wear it as a bracelet since it's a bit chunky, but he hooked it onto his pack he keeps in the car. Now if the situation is dire, he can navigate if need be. Not only that, in a real pinch he could stitch up a wound, catch some fish, and cook some food under a fire made by the fire starting tool.Of course, you have to learn how to use the firestarting tool and other survival methods, to use these tools effectively.Great gift and great idea.

Great for a hiker
Got this for my grandson and he had it apart in minutes to make sure everything was there that it said it did. the fire starter was the best part. All the items were packaged in a plastic tube and the parachute cord was macraméd around it.

Did not receive what the picture and description show!
It arrived when it was suppose to but it’s not the color that I ordered, it’s suppose to have a 2 1/4 inch ferrocerium rod per the description but it’s only an inch and it doesn’t say last man on the fire striker like it shows on the picture for the description so I’m pretty sure it’s probably a knock off. How am I suppose to know that it even has the rest of the stuff inside that it’s suppose to have?? I thought this would be a nice addition to my survival gear but I don’t know that it has what it’s suppose to have considering nothing else is correct!!!

Good buy.
It's fairly large on my wrist, and I'm a bigger dude. It was a little tough to get on and didn't like being bent, but it did fit and eventually settle into some kind of shape that was comfortable. I'd have given four stars, but the pricepoint is pretty hard to be mad at, and it is what it says it is. I'm just going to trust all the kit listed was included. I really don't want to take it apart to check. I'm not sure I could put it back together.

GREAT Item, but a bit bulky for smaller guys IMO.
The product in the pic (Digital pattern) is what I ordered, and exactly what I received. Very sturdy, well made, and definitely will withstand high amounts of activity, and the elements. While the compass is definitely not the 99 cent store type, I decided to remove it. Looking back, I should have ordered one without it. The reason being is that the bracelet is much more bulky than I expected (to no fault of the seller, as it has quite a few items inside), and thus, it looked a bit out of place. I like to look as "grey" as possible. I am 5-6, 150 lbs, so a bit of a smaller guy. Having has similar survival bracelets (which included rubber tubing and a host of other items), this one was a bit more bulky than what I am used to. For this reason, and this reason only is why I gave 4 out of 5 stars. If you a bit larger than me, this would be perfect for you!

This is kind of a cool product. The one disadvantage is that you can't actually check to see what is wrapped up in the bracelet so there is no way to know the condition of it. Also, the compass on this bracelet fell off immediately as it came out of the package, and it didn't actually work. It was pointing to south when it should have been pointing to north. Hopefully, we'll never get lost badly enough that we have to use what is in it, because I'm a little skeptical of the quality.

THE piece of light weight gear to add to your survival pack
Well made, provisioned to keep you alive and warm in an emergency. I got one for myself and my ladies emergency bag. Food, fire, direction and a foundation for shelter. This item and a knife or ax can see you through any short term emergency. Well worth the money and far ahead of any competitors in the same price range.
