The Beret is wonderful. It's cute, warm and very comfortable. No slipping, either. Lightweight material. I don't feel it on my head, but there she sets. Another thing, because my head is so small I always worry about hats wearing me. But not this one. Not because the hat is small, but because it is so well made.

I like the versatility in the shape of this beret. You can angle it to one side for a ‘spunky’ or youthful flair, or you can pull it downward to cover both ears when you need to do so for warmth. It feels secure even in the wind, too. I did not rate it 5 stars because of the metal ornament fastened to the band; I prefer to wear articles of clothing without name brand blazoned upon them.

This is a beautiful, handmade wool berret from the Ukraine. I purchased the Burgundy colored one and I'm very pleased with the fit as well. Not too big, and it stretches for a secure fit. I'd like to order one in another color, now that I see how it fits and how well it is made. This hat is lined. And a personal card was added to this purchase from the seamstress. All the way from the Ukraine!
