This test does not test for a yeast infection. It's a test to RULE OUT any PH issues related to bacterial vaginosis or trichomoniasis. Defeated the purpose as I just wanted to be sure I indeed had a yeast infection before I used monistat.

I was misled to think I could test whether I had or I didn’t have a yeast infection. It just shows the acid balance which has nothing to do with yeast infection. So it’s pretty useless after all.

Directions say it's not for menopausal women unless you are on hormone therapy. Had to open it to find that out. Too late to return. Just threw away money.

Very important to understand that this test does NOT indicate if you have a yeast infection. That’s the reason I bought it and that was pointless. All it does is indicate whether or not you have abnormal acidity. Normal acidity rules out other types of infection but it does not rule out a yeast infection. If you have normal acidity, then you MIGHT have a yeast infection. This is pointless if you’re looking for a definitive test before treating.

Accurate ph balance reading. It was able to diagnose that the ph balance was high just as it advertises, prompting me to see my doctor for further diagnosis.
