Horphag is a GOOD THING! Horphag holds the patent and TM for Pycnogenol. The Horphag TM indicates that the product--which is manufactured by dozens of brands--meets the standards set forth by the original formulation. Anyone can call their generic product Pycnogenol, but some cheaper brands include grape skin extract. Still others use Pine bark extract--but not the French variety stipulated by Horphag. When considering any product called PYCNOGINOL, look for the Horhag TM and the pine tree logo. If if doesn't display those two things, it may be pine tree bark extract, but its not the real deal.
