My 6 year old son was thrilled the author came out with a new one! Really brightened his day! Just as clever as the first couple. Now if only Mo would write a new Elephant and Piggie book before my son gets too old to enjoy them! Please!!!

First of all, we love love love Mo Willems. I was only familiar w Gerald and Piggie so I was excited to see other characters. Pigeon is cool too. I feel this book is on a slightly higher reading level than the other characters books. I’m guessing the squirrel books may be for 1st/2nd graders but idk. My son enjoys them. I love hearing him read and knowing he’s learning! (Squirrel books have a “Facts” section at the end.)

My son did not like reading until we found this book he reads it a lot!My daughter who is 8 loves the book a lot too!I am happy that my son loves to read now!
