Nice book but who's the audience
Very good quality book, nice idea taking a complex topic and distilling it into a clear and concise format with a logical flow. I do however think 'babies' is misleading since even the simple concepts are quite difficult for even toddlers to grasp, and apart from that the book lacks many of the other sensory stimuli that many other baby books have. I struggle to really see who this book is aimed at (I bought it as a joke for an adult friend).

Surprisingly bad, though accurate
Perhaps it’s because it was written by a physicist that it’s so bad. The problem is summed up in the image here, of the page that just says “This energy is quantized”. What this means is never explained, which is arguably the essential aspect of quantum physics. The child might be able to infer what “quantized” means from the previous pages that tell her that electrons can only occupy specific “locations” around a nucleus, but this is not straightforward. As a book that’s intended to explain quantum physics to kids, this fails. As a book that teaches kids what some new words, it’s alright. Feynman would have hated this version of science “education”, which is just vocabulary expansion.

Nuclear Physics for Babies
While this is funny as a present; as a physcisist this is a book on Nuclear Physics not Quantum. A couple of inaccuracies too.

Incredibly bad
This book is just a joke. I'm a scientist (molecular biology) and was excited to be able to introduce concepts from quantum physics to my 1 year old. So I was utterly disappointed to find that not only is the book nonsensical (it literally describes a wrong model of nuclear physics, and doesn't teach quantum physics at all) but also that it is terribly written and illustrated. It's as though a child who was taught science in the 1960s wrote it.Complete waste of money, don't bother with it.

Digestible and informative for all ages
Although this book is aimed at younger children, I think this book would be great for anyone who has never had an understanding of quantum physics. It isn't exactly teaching material, but it is very good at introducing the ideas of electrons, nucleons, energy levels and energy in a way that is hard to argue with. It is amazing that some of these ideas are only introduced to some physicists when they reach college yet this book makes it apparent to toddlers and leaves room for questions and curiosity. This book contains 23 pages with a picture and short sentence on each, meaning this book isn't a very long read, but again, this book is great at introducing fundamental ideas of quantum physics to a baby, which is amazing itself.
