Q: Where are these glasses made ?

Designed in USA. Made in a remote village in China by very skilled glass blowers.

Q: From the pic, looks like they updated the glass to no longer have the full mountain exposed, but just the tip. Can any recent purchases confirm?

The glasses haven't been updated. None of the pictures will give you a complete understanding of how the glass looks when you hold it in your hand. Without any liquid, looking straight on at the side, it looks like the mountain is rising above the level of the sea, but that's just the way the glass looks by itself. When you put liquid in the glass, you basically see the same thing. The glasses are very attractive, no matter how full or empty they are. The glasses are not as heavy as they look in the pictures, since the base is not a solid piece of glass with the mountain somehow embedded inside. I like my glasses. They are a nice size for holding, and feel comfortable in the hand.

Q: Are they thin rimmed?

They are not rimmed. They are nice and I use them however the bottom is not solid and they are not as heavy as I had hoped.
