Fantasy Flight Games Elder Sign - Vol 05: Omens Of The Deep

Such a solid expansion for an already great and these days severely underrated game. I own hundreds of games yet Elder Sign is one I am ALWAYS down to play. This expansion, like the others, adds a ton of new stuff to play with and really messes with the game in all the best ways. Got it for an absolute bargain as well.

Elder Sign has been one of our favorite games for years. We play at least once a month.The most recent expansions have taken the game out of the museum. This expansion takes the investigators to the deep ocean. While the core mechanics have stayed the same. The new adventure cards and monsters capture the theme well.This expansion also adds skills, which I found to be a great expansion feature expansions. The skill decks from other expansions can be combined with this one.Many of the components are combined with the base set, but the adventures and omens are totally separate for the ocean theme.The expansion easily stores in its separate box with the combined components fitting into the main box. But for serious Elder Sign fans, check out the storage solution from Broken Token.We really like this expansion; the new cards live upto my high expectations for art and story. This expansion adds a fresh feel to Elder Sign.
