Blindsighted: The First Grant County Thriller

I am a big fan of Karin Slaughter's writing. I enjoy all her books. I only wished I had started to read her books in the correct order instead of reading one book, then realising that it was a follow on to the book I read previously read. Nevertheless, I do enjoy her writing and am always spellbound once I pick up a volume and have to force myself to put it down to get chores done. I look forward to reading many more titles from this excellent writer.

I have only recently been introduced to Ksrin Slaughter And as a result bought this book so I could follow the characters through. I was not disappointed! Her attention to detail is fantastic and the descriptions make it all seem very real and slightly unnerving. Excellent. I will certainly be collecting the rest of the series.

I bought this after enjoying her later novels. "Pretty girls" and "cop town". It was gripping but I found it a little basic in character portrayal. I will try some more of her novels...maybe her writing matures to the later standards I read.

I thought Karins writing is very good with a great detail but is a little gruesome in parts but it didnt spoil a good read.
