Winnie the Pooh's Giant Lift The-Flap

Large lift the flap book, great for early learning
This is the third time I have purchased this book. My son adores it so much he wears it out carrying it about and going through it. This is a very thick board book and durable. My son has been looking at this book since he was 1. He is now 6. He is autistic and Winnie is his special interest. We love looking at this book together. It has helped him to speak out words and take notice of what is going on in the book. It’s a large book for a little one. Beautifully illustrated. Teaches opposites, the time, alphabet and shapes. Flaps are large so easy for small hands and the book is coated so even if he spills something on it, it wipes off easy. I am sure I will be buying another one in about a year or twos time

Lovely illustrations
Beautiful book with lovely illustrations. Only worry is even though it's a board book, the cardboard are very thin so not sure how long it will hold up especially with younger children.

A little Americanised
A good book, but really strange items under some of the flaps?! I for ink well, J for jump rope, S for sweater, seems a little Americanised for such a British bear!

Excellent as a "memory game", learning daily routine and ABC
Captures imagination of two year old toddler. Board book, slightly larger than A4 size. Beautiful illustrations and toddler gets to open flaps. We also use it as a "memory game" - after reading this a few times, toddler gets the satisfaction of guessing what's under the flaps before opening the flaps. There is a clock face with 12 flaps to reveal what Winnie gets up to each hour of the day - we use this to learn about time and talk about daily routine. The last page is A to Z flaps which is useful for learning ABC. Toddler talks about this book at random moments during the day, recalling illustrations from this book! The only downside, if I'm really picky, is that there isn't a story weaved into this book which they could have easily done. Otherwise it is Highly recommended!

Lovely Quality
I nearly didnt order this book because of some of the negative reviews. It isnt a story book but is very colourful and beautifully illustrated. It includes shapes. Time. Opposites etc. With all the pooh characters. Each page is, hard back. I have bought it as a baby shower present for my daughter alongside some other winnie the pooh books. I am looking forward to looking at it with my baby Granddaughter.
