Experience studio lighting for beginners

This made my studio as good as Real photographic studio, and after i finished my use in the studio i grabbed one of softbox with the stand and placed it in my living room just to use it for soft lighting while watching movies or playing games in daily basis! Loved it

Let's not fool ourselves, this is a cheap (or value) lighting kit and the build quality in terms of materials used reflects this. That said, it's remarkably good value for what it does deliver, great for lighting smaller area videos and usable for still photography provided you are in a darkened area and therefore don't need a strobe flash to kill the ambient light. Furthermore, the fact that it is mostly plastic, or cheap metal (the stands) it is lightweight and easily transported when collapsed and packed away. I like the fact that you can change the colour temperatures at the flick of a switch and dial up or down the strength of each lamp with a simple dimmer switch. It might not be (and isn't) good enough for larger studio or location video sets, but it's great for what it can deliver on a smaller scale.

Quality of the lighting is good for the price, but the quality of the softboxes is poor and they are hard to put together. You feel like it will break when you try to fit the covers. The lights are better, but could be brighter.

When I received my parcel I started setting up and it didn’t meet my expectations. Coz it won’t stay properly and starts falling down. Then I request for return and refund, when I started putting everything back I noticed that the stand had a damaged.

For the budget a top product and we did some shoots already and it works perfectly fine, so really a good recommendation ! Keep it going !
