My husband was recently in an accident that resulted in our truck being totaled. While he was not the one at fault, there were no witnesses and it was therefore left to the resulting placement of the vehicles to determine fault. Being that my husband was spun across two lanes, that was a very inaccurate way to find fault. Had he had this then, we could have proven what happened. Needless to say that I will never drive without a dash cam again. It's just not worth the risk.It was very easy to place and install. The SD card that comes with it is more than enough to suffice for a day on the road and can be cleaned and reused indefinitely. I really am happy about the slim and compact design that allows for full camera view without obstructing my own view of the road. Once we replace the truck, I will be getting another dash cam for it as well. The good was that nothing happened to the camera since it hit pretty hard on the dashboard.I don’t know if it is my unit but I have to keep my camera plugged in at all the times even though I charge it while driving the battery isn’t strong to hold for a day or two.I have the option set to overwrite 32GB sd card but it won’t do it, instead it will give me a blue screen with message displaying “SD card is full”.I have acquired this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my fair and honest review.
