I don't know when this question was submitted, so hope it isn't so old it's no longer relevant. I would first advise you ask your breeder, but, if you can't do that for some reason, I can tell you that we have an English Mastiff, which is quite a bit larger than a dobie (she is 180 lbs), but she is older and not active at all any more, so she doesn't eat much. We feed her about 1 1/4 cups twice a day, in addition to the 1/4 cup or so of sweet potato we put her meds in. I can't remember what we fed her as a puppy, but I think about 1 1/2 cups twice a day, plus some vitamin supplements recommended by our breeder. Hope this helps!

I am thinking about buying a larger bag of this but am wondering how good is the food for once you open the bag and place it in a doggy food container

I have left my bag opened for several months and his my dog container and it has stayed fresh

why is the ingredient different for 5lbs compared to the larger packs for grain free puppy??
