This product fits the bill if you need to fill in spots where your scalp is starting to show. My hair is now totally gray - fortunately the color is beautiful. But my hair which has always been very thick is now thinning a bit so the pink scalp shows too much especially around my cowlicks. This colors the skin and stays until I wash it out.On my last order, there was a mix-up on my delivery - the wrong color sent...twice. The customer service through Rootflage took care of the problem so promptly. Amazing, and something that doesn't happen often these days.

This product is great for me in transitioning to 'gray' hair. I stopped dyeing a few months ago, got a short cut and it was a mess - mostly white with dark leftover ends and chunks of brown. I purchased the gray/titanium color, and it nicely blends in the colors I have. A light application also adds some body and hold (like a light mist of spray), without making it feel stiff and dirty like the chalks and crayons I tried.I don't think that a light color would cover dark hair, though.

I have used and liked these before, but this last one the only gray color was a little too dark for me, and the plastic container was not as nice, it felt loose like it might break in my hand.

Does exactly what it says, and good value. Great at covering thin spots or adding color streaks. Note that it is a somewhat heavy powder so use sparingly or it's like a dry shampoo.Very pleased. Bought two colors, and will purchase again.

I was really hoping this would be the answer to my dark roots - light silver/gray hair problem, but sadly this product didn't cover my dark roots at all. I really couldn't tell that I had even applied it aside from my hair feeling powdery afterwards. I also found it impossible to put the cap back over the brush without bending and damaging the brush. There did seem to be a lot of pigment in the product, so if you were starting with blonde/dirty blonde roots it would probably work quite well, but I have dark brown roots.
