Tons of skills, which will work for you
This book was a real surprise. I listened to the audio book of Jocko Willink,"Extreme Ownership"before, who is as the author of this book a former navy seal, - so I expected something completely different. In unbeatable mind Mark Divine tells you about his personal methods of controlling your mind and body, and he incorporates breathing methods, meditation, he asks you questions which dig deep for your personal purpose on life. I didn't expected this from a navy seal though...he sounds more like a Spiritual leader or Yoga teacher. The exercises and techniques of this book are extremely effective, i real worked with some of them, and they are very useful and I achieved visible results. I can highly recommend this book and its as a workbook which benefit comes from doing the exercises! Enjoy!

Good book
I like this book.. it’s consistent with the atmosphere and kindness the author has written the book with. I have picked it up and read the first 25 or 30 pages about 20 times.. I’m going to starve fear and feed courage for 10 minutes then I will submit this review. Done!

Good book, good review of techniques, fairly limited on fluff.
Taking half a star because of occasional editing errors and another half for subtle occasional pitches laced in for author other businesses.I was surprised to read early on in the book about importance of breath exercises - I have read about this before but Mark addresses the discipline behind it. Which so far for me has been the missing piece. I have become more disciplined about working out for example, but breathing exercises are something I have slacked on. Mark (typical of SEALs) he says you must do it with rigor of training just like any other kind of training.Half way the book goes a bit too dogmatic for my taste, which in my view detracts from the quality. Also the pictures at the end in the appendix are a little strange and not well referenced. Minor point. Good reading list at the end.

Inspiring
Great for people with depression or anxiety who tend to get stuck in their own thought process or overthink everything. Practical tips to help climb out of that negative line of thinking.
