Initially had problems with the recognition of the device on my iPad. Re-installed software and all ok. Great item although it didn't work on my iphone 5 but on other iPhones I have, iPads, and Mac's, it did the job.

Very happy with the item, I move things freely between my ipad, imac & iphone. Can be used as backup device as well as to transfer files between devices. Transfer speed is quite fast.

Not compatible with iphone15
Takes 2-3 hours to backup almost 7000 photos and some videos, also not compatible with iphone 15, used it to my iphone 11

The best purchase ever!
So thrilled to be able to get photos and videos off iphone easily! Use phone for videoing sports tournaments so run out of space frequently - NOT ANYMORE! Can easily copy photos and videos over then get them on my laptop or cloud drive. Has made it sooooo much easier to keep enough free space on my phone! Have bought several for family members and have all worked well.
