I love this pencil case! I've got so much stuff in it. Everything from highlighters to coloured pencils to fineliners. It's amazing. I was so sick of carrying around about 6 pencil cases everywhere so I decided to buy this and it sorted the problem out instantly. Only one comment is that the "dolphin" design features whales and no dolphins but you can tell by the photo anyway so it wasn't a problem as I love the whale design!

J'ai resté surpris de l'éclat des couleur sur la trousse, dauphins, béluga, épaulard et baleines tous au rendez-vous. C'est vraiment magnifique et tous mes crayons gels y entrent 2 par élastiques. C'est une trousse vraiment de qualité et pas obligé d'ouvrir le fermoir chaque fois qu'on désire une couleur, on n'ouvre qu'une seule fois pour avoir accès à nos couleurs. Je recommande vivement. J'ai d'ailleurs racheté une autre de couleur différentes pour y mettre mes crayons de bois.

The price was good as there was a coupon offer, so that helps, and there just isn't much to choose from in terms of larger, travel-friendly cases that still make the pencils accessible (I was annoyed with the Tran brand travel pencil case, which is sturdy as heck but makes it very hard to remove the pencil crayons - aka the whole point of a case?!). I immediately noted that the outside fabric is beautiful, a silky-feeling, thick nylon with a very pretty pattern of whales. I had high hopes for the inside as well. But it arrived with one side of the handle threading coming apart and one of the dividers inside also starting to come off on one corner (thread unraveling). So it's not the greatest quality overall despite the high-end appearance of the outside of the case.Having said that, the capacity of pencil crayons that it holds is unreal. I just can't believe how many pencil crayons this thing can hold! And the elastics that hold the pencils in place seem sturdy - no ripping so far. So that is very impressive. Still, the 3 double-sided dividers become very heavy with the large amount of pencils on each side and one divider was starting to fall off from the get go, so that's likely going to be an ongoing issue. The strip of fabric on the top of each divider is thin and flimsy, not what I expected to see. I have simply resigned myself to having to sew it up every now and then rather than return it.The front pocket is almost useless, as others have noted. Everything, such as erasers, sharpeners, etc., slides out constantly and the velcro 'closure' might as well not even be there. On the plus side, there is at least one brand of colouring book (the 'Posh' ones) that fit perfectly/snugly in the front pocket! Love that. And I must say that there was an adorable name tag included that I just love. It's turquoise and has a cool 1970's feel to it, stating, "TAKE ME AWAY.” The tag is functional as well as cute, with room for name, tel #, and address just in case you misplace your case. As with other cases, this one is difficult to access in the corners of the inside of the case. Meaning it's really tight to get the pencils in and out of the sides of first and last sections that are attached / sewn to the hard outside of the case (sorry, hard to explain), but there are always tight inner corners on all the cases I've tried. I just leave an empty space there or put rarely used colours there.

I was skeptical about this as I have tried many pencil / marker cases and rolls and never loved any of them. I liked this one enough to buy a second one. Haven’t owned it long enough to determine long-term sturdiness, but zippers and stitching seem good.

Very happy with the product, we fit an abundance of pencil crayons, markers, and now they're all neat and tidy for my 10 year old. She's a whale-lover and absolutely adored the print. The straps to keep the pencils/pencil crayons in seem pretty sturdy! Happy so far! Haven't used it for travelling yet, but happy with purchase.
