It's a wste of time and money . It does not work. It has no effect on flece or thicks

I purchased this for my mini schnauzer. We bought her from someone local and I believe all the pups she had must have had fleas. I really wished these would have worked the way they said they do, killing fleas almost immediately. Unfortunately, that's not been my experience with this product.I waited 24 hours, not much change, still fleas all over my poor little dog. Waited a few more days, there seemed to be a few less fleas, but still very noticeable. It's now been a few weeks that she's been using the collar and I still find fleas on her easily. They just seem to have migrated away from the collar.I give the collar 3 stars instead of 2 or 1 because I haven't seen any ticks on her since putting it on her, which is a plus - so maybe it's doing something. But I'm going to have to figure out something else for the fleas.

What I like about this collar is that it is affordable. And could fit my Australian Shepherd mix and my Boxer-German shepherd mix with ease. The instruction are clear and it was easy to put on the dogs. The problem with the collar is that it did not really work. It seem to help prevent some fleas. But at the end of the day there was still fleas on my dog.Though last year when I bought this product not a single tick was seen on my dogs. So I think it works better to prevent ticks than fleas. If you buy this product make sure you stretch the collar before applying it on the dog. The white stuff on the collar is what prevent the insect. I made the mistake of not reading the instruction and forgetting to stretch the collar before. And of course the collar did not work.

Got this to cut up into pieces and put inside the vacuum bag before installing it in the vacuum cleaner. This way fleas and larva will be killed if vacuumed up, rather than just crawling back out of the bag.Our vet said that flea collars aren't actually supposed to be used for animals any more, as they can cause cancer... so be sure to check into that before using this for an actual family pet!

After years of using liquid spot treatments on my dogs, I tried collars again. This is a terrible year for ticks. I've never had fleas if I don't have cats, and I live away out in the sticks, so there's no domestic cats within miles. Sadly, the collars may have reduced the ticks by 20% if at all. Can't speak to fleas unless it's to say they work as great as saying a sharks tooth protects you from sharks in Oklahoma.

I ordered the small dog version after the Seresto flea collar expired and this collar did a horrible job. My little yorkie was covered in fleas. She got flea dipped at the groomers twice, and then I bought the Seresto flea collar for smal dogs and now we are flea free once again. I do not recommend this collar. Although the large dog version worked for my larger dog so I don't know this one didn't work for my yorkie.
