Perhaps a different use for these - I suddenly lost hearing in one ear, probably due to a virus, and noise, particularly high pitches, in that ear was beyond excruciating. According to my audiologist and ENT, sudden profound hearing loss is rarely curable, so I had to come up with ways to dull the noise so I could stand to be around people. haha. Anyway, the traditional foam ones do not work for me as I have small ears - it was a joke trying to use those and still function with all the noise around me. I found these silicone ones and they are a godsend. They can be molded to any size ear, they do a fantastic job deadening sound, no one notices it, and you can use as much or as little as you need by pinching off whatever amount seems needed. I can hear high pitches only (no voices or normal day to day sounds) and these block them out completely or at least to a degree that is bearable. It's disconcerting to have zero sound on one side, but better than hearing pitches that felt like knives in my skull. Two thumbs up for quality and comfort.

But this is silicon, I can use two for every night.It is very hard to use it one more time.Only problem is that I need lots of money for buy for every night!

I used these earplugs last night for the first time, and I am very very very pleased with my purchase! I bought these specifically for some travel that included several long flights, and sharing a room with my sister and noisy nephews. I wore the earplugs to bed; they were easy to insert, have a squishy texture, and aren't as uncomfortable to wear as the kind of earplugs that you push into your ear canal. The material does attract lint, little bits of hair and dust, so definitely clean after each use. I did wake up in the middle of the night because of a loud TV, but an earplug had fallen out. I re-inserted and next when I woke up, my sister said that I slept through my parents, a few cousins, brother, and her family all over having breakfast. If I wake up without earplugs at the sound of a loud TV, but sleep soundly through a room of a dozen very loud people talking, then I call this product AMAZING.

i was expecting ear plugs that molded into my ear so it wouldn't move around, especially when I sleep. I find that when I put it in my ear, it stays the same shape which is not what I was expecting, but I'll admit when you get the right shape in your ear it does a good job with the noise cancelling.

I am glad this didn't cost much but sad to waste even a penny on these ear plugs--or actually little blue blobs of something I wouldn't put in my ear again. It's kind of the consistency of soft candle wax. I don't see how these are supposed to do anything. I rolled them slightly and tried to mold to my ear. There is no spring back and it felt like putting old gum in my ear. I didn't notice any noise dampening. I accidentally jabbed one with my fingernail when taking it out of the package and part of it basically came off--which made me really worry about having a piece stay in my ear canal. I am very disappointed with this product and now I'm back to trying the regular foam kind that you roll to insert and they spring back up to seal into your ear. Also, I don't see how you could wash these things, as whatever sticks to them gets incorporated into the blob. So weird. I don't know where the positive reviews came from. Buy at your own risk!

I love these ear plugs! The slightest noise wakes me up, so these ear plugs have worked great to help me sleep at night. Only complaint is you have to change them often. I tried washing them off and it didn’t work for me! I will definitely keep buying these when I run out! Love it!! :-)

They barely canceled out noise. I didn’t like them, waste of money.

As a shift worker, I rely on these earplugs for good sleep. Very comfortable and easy to mold to every ear. I like the case that I store them in, you get two with every order. 1 for the pair you're using and the 1 that the unused ones are kept. I've advised many people on earplugs and these are the best value and quality

The earplugs stay in place relatively well, they cancel general speaking noise or TV sounds from the other room if the earplugs are well in place. They do not cancel out party noises from the wall across you though. But they do help.Personally shaping them is a tad bit tricky I just shoved it in and eventually kept moving it around until I could get the best noise cancelling. They are reusable and great in that sense. My favorite part was that they come with a cases which keeps them clean and nice! I prefer them to foam ones as foam ones tend to fall out too much. Anyway personally good purchase and helped me sleep better.

These are the only earbuds I’ve tried of this type. But I believe they are among the best. Lasted a very long time with cleaning every month or two. Takes a bit of time to figure out how to make them seal well. I have and will buy again. Love them.

These are perfect for dulling sound.

Does a decent enough job blocking out noise and reasonably comfortable. Difficult to place in your ears, sometimes does not regain its form, and breaks off too easily.

Well this sure looked like a good idea at the time. Even when firmly placed into my ear as the directions indicated, there was not sufficient noise reduction for me. I am highly sensitive to noise and have worn ear plugs for the last 30 some years. Usually the flat bottomed foam ones - which I almost always go back to. I was just hoping for something a little more permanent as I really don't like adding to the world's trash problem, especially from packaging and plastics. So this one was a real miss for me.
