Fast delivery and nice set of books

Working through these with my 9-year old daughter right now and they are a treat. I grew up as an avid Calvin and Hobbes fan and see a lot of similarities; at first it felt a little too close for comfort, but now I appreciate them for what they are feel like we are sharing something special together. Be prepared for a lot of big words and concepts you may have to explain to younger readers - good opportunity for learning and vocabulary expansion.

My daughter, who is 9, and I both love this series. It's funny and sincere. Cute and kind of crazy. The illustration style is perfect. The reading level is okay, with some challenging words but not a lot. You cannot go wrong with this for a little girl between the ages 8 to 12.

My daughter loves these because they are almost like comic books with short stories. She can read a few pages here and there and come back to it later. And she loves magical unicorns.
