What are the differences between the lawn mower 3.0 and the lawn mower 2.0 if any?

Thanks so much for your question! The Lawn Mower 3.0 is our third generation trimmer. We've included several updates below:

- Upgraded 7,000 RPM motor with QuietStroke™ Technology (1,000 RPM improvement). 
​- Rechargeable built-in 600mAh Lithium-Ion battery holds charge for up to 90 minutes. The Lawn Mower 2.0’s rechargeable AA battery lasts up to 60 minutes. 
​- The Lawn Mower 3.0 has a rapid charging dock powered by USB. Our Lawn Mower 2.0 does not include a dedicated dock! 
​- The Lawn Mower 3.0 comes equipped with an adjustable trimmer guard! It adjusts from 2mm to 3.5mm with a simple swipe up or down. Guards on the Lawn Mower 2.0 must be physically removed and snapped back on to change trimming lengths. 
​- 3.0 has Diamond-Textured no-slip grip. Not available on Lawn Mower 2.0. 
​- 3.0’s LED light illuminates grooming areas for more thorough trimming. Lawn Mower 2.0’s LED light only show it’s charging.

Can you use this trimmer to shave facial hair as well?

The short answer on this is no you cannot trim facial hair, but kinda. The Lawnmower 3.0 comes with a single trimmer guard. So your choices are completely bald or almost completely bald. So for edging a beard or squaring off your side burns, absolutely. If you mean can you set the guard to 3 and trim your unruly beard. Nope! So the basic intention is to remove hair...not trim it.

Is the charging base USB c?

Thanks so much for your question! The Lawn Mower 3.0 charging base is not USB C. Our proprietary charging cable connects the dock to the included USB wall charger cube.

Forget the catchy tongue-in-cheek marketing. You're much better off getting the Panasonic Body Groomer. The shape of the cutter elements makes it safer on sensitive skin with or without the skin guard attachments, and it gets closer too. You don't need to replace the cutter every 3 months either, and you get a quality Panasonic battery that holds a charge very well. The Panasonic is a dedicated sensitive skin body groomer that does one thing and does it extremely well.
