BlackstarFly3 Bluetooth Black - 3 Watt 1 x 3" Combo Mini Amp w/Bluetooth

Like I thought I only had to buy this one bc of its price but I needed to buy another piece I was so confused

Just a bit expensive However the sound very clear the size acceptable + good optionsrecommended

I remember trying this mini amp at a Guitar Center close to 8 years ago, and almost bought it then!I purchased the green set that includes the Extension Cab and Power Supply. I figured it was worth the small difference in price. I couldn’t be more right! Lately, if I want to practice or “plunk around” I first need to set up my “home studio rig:” usb interface into my iPad with all the connections involved with that, then start up and choose my amp sim apps: BIAS AMP, BIAS FX, Amplitube, etc. and then GarageBand. Next I’d go through my library of presets and then tweak for an hour.What I want is something small and minimal: plug in guitar, plug in headphones. If I want to use my pedalboard, great. If not, great! The Blackstar FLY3 was perfect for this need!!!For such a SMALL amp (3in speaker, and only 3 watts) this amp is pure dynamite tone! Solid State, but it really does sound to have very tube-like response. Turn up the gain on Clean channel and go from sparkling clean to edge of/slight breakup, all the way to tube-like overdriven crunch. Think early AC/DC vintage plexi gold!The Dirt Chanel gives you more modern, highly saturated high gain. It’s great for your 80’s, 90’s, even 2000’s hard rock/early metal!The ISF isn’t just a standard Tone knob. It is a versatile feature allowing you to achieve tones from American to British style tones. Setting the knob to the Left gives you American “California” (MB) style tone (mid scooped, searing high end)Turning it to the Right gives you classic British (Marshall) goodness. Gain settings allow for JTM/Plexi all the way to JCM Series, and everything in between. (This is my personal favorite.)The Extension Cab was another complete surprise! It increases the overall power from 3 watt to 6 watts. The biggest surprise I got was how much it beefed up the time! I assumed it would sound the same, just louder. How wrong I was! The tone was totally beefed up! Just like comparing a 112 to a 412 cabinet! It added more Useable low end depth and “oomph”.If you are looking for something small, quiet for bedroom practice, and/or portable, then try this out! Most other mini amps in this size and/or price range really sound crappy, whereas this sounds bigger than it is. Blackstar hit it out of the park!

Formidable rendu du son, avec tout les réglages d'un "gros ampli". pour jouer sans gêner les autres, simplement parfait pour l'utilisation que j'en ai.

Dommage que je n'ai trouvé nul part le baffle qui correspond à mon FLY 3 Vintage Cream. Tant pis, le noir fera l'affaire, acheté 20,99 €...

Bin absolut begeistert von dem kleinen Ding! Fur den Preis echt absolut in Ordnung. Macht nen schönen Cleanssound mit dem eingebauten Delay noch besser wird ! Verzerrt geht es auch , aber clean ist meiner Meinung nach seine Stärke.Fur die Größe wirklich ziemlich laut und durch den Batterienbetrieb kann man ihn überall mit hinnehmen.Von mir gibt beide Daumen nach oben eine klare Kaufempfehlung!Viel Spaß damit.Christian….
