Fun to read
This book is so fun to read. My 9-year-old son loved it. He was immersed in the book, giggled from time to time and finished the book in two days.In his words, 'simply unputdownable!'

Best yet?
We have loved Football School Seasons 1-3, and we loved this one too. Unlike other series, the idea is not wearing thin. There is no special need to read the books in order, and we think that this might be the best yet.Things we really love about this book (parent and 12-year-old female footballer):- It is funny. Laugh out loud funny in places.- It is surprising, some of the quiz questions at the end of each chapter really have you gasping when you check the answers.- Women are not an afterthought: female players, female characters in the illustrations, and discussion of the future and why it is important for attitudes to change in terms of female representation in coaching/management staff - it is there. So many other football books aimed at children might have one page at the back with a female player on that seems to have been added on the advice of the editor for inclusion purposes rather than being important to the author. Here, as a reader you feel inclusion is important to the authors. We hope there is a season 5 coming soon.

Another winner
My kids love this series and so do I. Full of hilarious facts - football a flimsy pretext but reels them in! Presented in such a clever and entertaining way. Bring on Season 5...
