PENGUIN Dog Diaries

With a seven year old who is new to chapter books, this really was a great buy. The chapters aren’t too long and there’s lovely illustrations throughout. Even when he opened the first page, somewhat reluctantly, with an “I’m only reading two sentences “ I suddenly found he was continuing way past. The story grabs you, wanting to know more and is a great read! I see there are many more of this series and I can already see me buying more!!

Funny read from the dog's perspective. 7 year old daughter loves it and has chuckled her way through. Would recommend.
