A barn photo print of old red wagon doors with different wood patterns and the quote, "Home Is Where The Barn Is." A terrific rustic country housewarming gift. Two types of font are available for this print, which are displayed in the images. I took the liberty to slightly revise the old proverb, "Home is where the heart is," for those of us who love barns and farms and all things rustic. You don't have to live on a farm to love barns! This old set of sliding wagon barn doors are unusual in that they both have a different pattern. Many are made with vertical boards, but the peaked pattern of the door on the right is very unusual. The boards on the right are also beaded. The paint is bright barn red, and bright spring green lichen is growing on different sections of the door, as well as on the light gray concrete foundation to the right. The edges of the angled door a worn and faded to pale wood at the bottom. The handle of an old metal gate thumb latch set is serving as the pull for the door. The handle is install upside down. The large tab at the bottom is where the thumb latch would normally stick through. The handle is painted red. A dead vine still clings to the door on the left, while the edge of some vines are visible on the door to the far right. The barn siding is the same as the door to the left, narrow and vertical. The concrete foundation has black spots and washes of dusty rose along with the lichen. Copyright information will not appear in your purchased print.
