Q: Does this come with the hardware to mount to skierg bracket?

The Universal Bracket is used for both wall-mounting and the floor stand. The Universal Bracket is sold with the SkiErg and can be found in the SkiErg box. The floor stand includes everything else you need to assemble.

Q: Do you need a mat to protect the floor from sweat in addition to this stand?

That depends on your level of exertion and level of sweating. For my wife, it isn't necessary. But for me, it is. I sweat a lot. From the motion of thrusting my arms down and back sweat flings off of me and lands 2-3 feet behind the stand. It's not a ton and wipes up quickly. I have wood floors luckily. I push pretty hard on the machine so keep that in mind. I usually hold a 2:00/500m pace for a 5000m workout. The sweat starts to pour about 10mins in and I'm soaked at 20mins.

Q: Has anyone used the SkiErg floor stand on carpet? Is it solid on carpet or does it rock and shift while skiing?

I have been using mine on high pile (nearly shag) carpet and it does not move at all - it is VERY solid.

Q: Can you use with the grey ski erg?

Sorry, the floor stand for the SkiErg1 is no longer available. This floor stand does not fit.
