I can only answer for myself but since I have been using this product my skin is smoother and has a finer texture. I am an older woman but I used to have more issues with blackheads and do not now. I even use it as a bath soap sometimes to give my body a good scrub. It does not seem to be drying but I do use Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer. Another daily product I love is the City Block, a light foundation and sun block. I say you should try the soap and you will know if it works for you after a few weeks.
