I placed one inside and one outside. This allows my dog to simple ring the bell to let her in and out. No barking or scratching so we are very happy. Plus it's cute to watch your dog ring a bell.

It's super cute, love the wide "button" that dings the bell. My dog in the other hand, hasn't gotten the concept that singing the bell means we want to go outside... nor does she understand that we like this bell. I am getting trained to ring every time I take her downstairs to go potty, so that's something. I'm sticking with it in hopes that she's no longer afraid of the bells. I mean doesn't she know the paw prints represents her ;) fingers crossed it will help as we work together to learn.

I "worked up to" setting this out for my dog but even after a week, he's scared of the thing!\NO WAY it is EVER going to work!I really think it's a good idea and better than the simple bell we have hanging from the doorknob, but my dog walks circles around it and won't go near it!

I used it to give goodies

Not very loud. So if you're in the opisite ends of the house you may not hear it. Had to put rubber on bottom so it wouldn't slide on floor.

The idea of "hitting" a hotel bell doesn't seem to register for my 28 lb medium size dog. With it's nose? With it's paw? Didn't work for my dog, which so far has been easily trained.

I thought these would come with instructions on how to train the animal. They didn’t.

My pup mastered using these pretty quickly and it’s been so so helpful! No damage to my door and such a good way for him to communicate without being naughty. My only wish is that these moved around less. I ended up gluing some non-slip to the bottom edge because they slide around and flip over otherwise - that was tricky to teach at first because he really had to look at what he’s doing to make it ring. Now, it takes him a couple tries to make a sound sometimes, but I just wait for a real ring and that isn’t a big issue.

Mon chien a compris super vite qu’il devait sonner pour aller dehors. Par contre, il serait pratique d’avoir un collant double face en dessous, car mon chiot se sauvait avec la cloche! Sinon super achat pour le prix!

I think these are perfect for potty training - they are sturdy and the bell is clear-sounding. My one product improvement would be if it had a suction cup to make it stick to the floor as it slides around/can be moved easily by larger pups.
