Q: Can you use this on suede ?

Not sure I used it on a smooth leather shoe three years ago and it still looks like new.

Q: How do you apply the paint?

Hi Melcap,The best way to apply the paint is in multiple smooth, even, thin coats with a paintbrush. Let each layer dry before applying the next layer and it should come out nicely. An acrylic finish can help to extend the life and durability of the paint as well. This would be applied after all the coats of paint have dried. I hope this helps.Sincerely,Tony WardSLC E-Commerce

Q: Does the paint washes off if water get on it??

No ! (: It's water-proof. I used this to paint my Timberland boots & they still look as nice as they did the day I painted them.. (Sometime last year!)

Q: Dos it need to be heat set?

I didn't heat set but I did have to use several coats .
