Pros: strong adhesive which bonds well to flat surfaces, and the Velcro holds fast.Cons: not easy to cut evenly, and pieces break off whenever separating.I can use this in multiple applications, but not one that requires less need to remove whatever you're securing. Even though this is supposed to be for your car transponder, if you need to move it from one vehicle to another, this Velcro product won't last very long.There's a better product out there by 3M that I just can't find. I was hoping this would be a good alternative, but it's really just a poor substitute. Happy shopping.

I've had many Command strips fail on me before I discovered VELCRO Brand. They seem to work well so far. The adhesive is a lot sticker than Command strips and hooking between two strips seems a lot strong and requires more force to snap together. Time will tell if they hold up.

This is a package of one-half of what you need to use velcro. Nowhere on it is instructions for the rest that is needed. These do not adhere to each other and do not function as velcro, and of course they don't catch to ordinary cloth either. 100% useless. I've looked here on amazon for the other half, simiilar sized strips that would adhere to these short pieces, but it's not obvious what would be needed. I even watched their ad-video, and no clue what else is needed is on there. Would welcome being informed as otherwise I just have to throw this away.
