Nature's Baby OrganicsConditioner & Detangler Lavender Chamomile 16 Fl. Oz.

I like the product but when it arrived in the mail about 4 tablespoons had leaked into the package. It was quite a mess!

My child has fine blonde hair and it gets so matted during sleep that I decided I needed a good conditioner. I try to use natural products on my children and I find that this conditioner is almost a perfect fit for our needs.While it does a pretty good job of conditioning and detangling, I would NOT recommend that you leave this product in their hair (if your kid has fine hair like mine). If I don't rinse the conditioner out of her hair it ends up looking greasy and all clumped together - like I never even washed it! I was hoping that I could enjoy the benefits of leaving it in (and one less crying fit), but it just doesn't work for my girl's hair type.If it worked as a leave-in I would have given it 5 stars, otherwise the product does work and smells very pleasant (not too strong). Also, the price is pretty fair for organic and natural ingredients.

My daughter's hair is getting more tangled as she gets older, and so she is hating getting her hair washed more and more. I ordered Nature's Baby Organics Shampoo and the Conditioner for her in hopes of it making her hair easier to wash and manage. They seem to help a bit, especially when combing her hair while the conditioner was still in. The conditioner's description says it can be washed out or left in, and it seems to work fine either way. It's great that it doesn't HAVE to be washed out, because by the end of the washing and conditioning process, my daughter is very ready for bath time to be OVER! So, it's helpful that I don't have to be sure to get every drop of conditioner out. These products also smell pretty good. No complaints here!

Pro's:Organicrelatively budget friendly for the amountCons:Not much of a detangler- we have a two year old with ringlets, and have a hard time during bathtime due to brushing issues. I really do not see a difference in the amount of time we spend tackling her.

Although I love this product (made w/greater than 70% certified organic ingredients, smells good, works well, easy to dispense from bottle). After daily use, it is turning green from the top down. I'm about to try contacting the company and see if I can figure out why.***update: I just contacted Natures Baby Organics and received wonderful customer service. I was told that water must have somehow entered the bottle and due to not having certain preservatives, this reaction to water will occur. It is a mold of some sort. I was told to send my info via email and a new bottle would be shipped to me. If indeed I do receive a new bottle and my daughter has no reaction to this, I will be a very satisfied happy customer! :)**update-it is now May 2014: I have been using NBO for over 2 years now and have only recently had an occurrence of my Detangler going "bad" quickly. This time however, I attempted to contact NBO via e-mail and did not hear back from them. What keeps me compelled to continue to use this is the great EWG rating, it's so hard to find a "clean/non toxic" good Detangler. :(
