Three Year Review! Power and Versatility.
After a shoulder injury I needed something to keep up with work around the property. I made the purchase out of desperation with little faith in its performance, but I was blown away by how powerful this cart turned out to be.For example, I’ve hauled a 35-gallon tank of maple sap—nearly 300 pounds—up a 10% slope in the snow with this thing. Without it, I’d probably need an ATV and trailer.Primarily, I use it as a firewood cart. In the fall, it hauls wood from the driveway, where the delivery truck dumps it, to the woodpile. In the winter, I drive it up a ramp onto the deck and straight through the door into the house! I can bring in two days’ worth of firewood in a single trip with minimal effort, saving myself the annoyance of carrying slings of wood. Even my wife, who hasn’t had to use it yet, could easily keep up with the woodstove if I weren’t around. That peace of mind means a lot to me.I’ve also used it to haul tools and gear into the woods for felling trees. It holds my chainsaw, axe, timber jack, ropes, come-along, and safety gear in one trip. Afterward, I use it to cart back the firewood. I even added tire chains to improve traction in the winter. Unlike an ATV and trailer I can turn around on a dime and it has a very light footprint in the woods and on the lawn. What I Love:- Powerful enough to handle steep slopes and heavy loads.- Makes repetitive tasks like firewood hauling much easier and faster.- Versatile and very maneuverable. You can't drive an ATV and trailer into the house!Where It Falls Short:Some of my complaints stem from the fact that I use the cart outside its likely design intent, but they’re worth mentioning:- No brakes: I live on steep hills, and the cart can run away if you’re not careful. As a three-wheeled design, it’s also prone to flipping if you lose control.- Open differential: While it makes the cart easy to steer, only one wheel will spin if traction is lost, which can leave you pushing it.- Weak sides and bottom: The lattice material is too delicate for heavier-duty tasks. Over time, it dents and pulls away from the frame, creating sharp edges that can cut you. To avoid this, I’ve lined the bottom with plywood, but the sides could use reinforcement too.- Large footprint: It takes up a lot of space when not in use. I wish it could fold up or tilt against a wall like a traditional wheelbarrow.- Plastic smell from batteries: Even three years later, the batteries emit an unpleasant smell, though keeping them in the garage solves this.

A usefully Garden cart, that could use some improvements.
Finally received my Electric Superhandy Cart, took 10 days, but all was okay, carton not crushed and the cart was packaged Very Well !Initial assembly went okay, not without some issues. As reported by some the bed dump handle when mounted would not let the bed all the way down, so I had to do some bending of the handle tube, and cut the handle bar lower right mount back 1 1/4", and redrill the mount hole for bolt clearance.Wheels went on okay, a bit stiff because of the paint in the wheel hubs. As to the single castor wheel, I will be modifying mine later to have two castors for better stability. The handles when assembled seem a bit high, and aren't adjustable.Operation wise, the motor controller gives you a smooth start in either direction even if you give it full power right off. Now mine came with Two Batteries although it says one in the ad, and the other descrepency is the cart size. When assembled, the interior is 21.75" x 33.25" x 11.0" tall, making the cubic foot size 4.60 cu ft, not 6.The Base and Motor seem heavy duty enough for most home chores. The side panels are not that heavy duty and bent easily, not the same hardness steel, along with the wire mesh being quite small. As long as you load the cart carefully, you shouldn't have problems hauling things. I will reinforce my side panels with something as another modification eventually. At this time I can't say how long it lasts driving while hauling things, it's to soon, but I will update this review when I get to use it more.So far so good, seems like a good helpfull cart for home chores, like hauling wood, or some bags of concrete, or mulch, or plants in the spring, even some larger wood when you take the sides completely off, and just use it as a flat cart.I'll update this later in the summer.

Great for taking logs uphill
It functions as described. It takes heavy loads up a steep hill with no noise and minimum effort on the drivers part. Good maneuverability with a forward and reverse gearing. Fun assembling but not simple. Battery life adequate.

After having this for a year I wonder how I lived without it
I've waited to review this cart until I used it for a full year. I've moved mulch, dirt, rocks, pavers, log rounds and split firewood. The SuperHandy Utility cart has NEVER failed to perform! I loaded it to the max and it has always moved right along either on flat or sloped surfaces. Battery life is incredible and with getting 2 I always had enough power. The batteries were kept indoors during the winter and kept their charge when being used when the temp. outside was below zero. The wire cart is pretty light gauge so I just built a plywood box and problem solved. Other then that, this purchase was one of the best I've ever made. My 70 year old back says, "Thank you, thank you, thank you".
