Really Easy to Use
In a recently purchased home I wanted to remove a wallpaper mural from one wall of the dining room. The wall behind still had the hand troweled texture on the drywall and I was hoping I could remove the mural without disturbing the texture. I purchased the Chomp scorer tool and the wallpaper stripper concentrate.Once I had a section of the wallpaper scored I sprayed it liberally with the mixed stripper. Within a minute I could see the stripper penetrating where I had scored the wallpaper. Within a couple of more minutes I was able to start peeling the paper off the wall. Most of the paper peeled right off the wall with little effort and no scraping. The remnants that were left behind after peeling were sprayed with stripper again and peeled off a few minutes later. I was able to remove the entire mural in less than two hours and was able to spare the dry wall and the texture completely. Perhaps I had a wallpaper with weak adhesive, or I just got lucky, either way I am thrilled with the results. After we completed painting the room there was no way anyone could ever tell there was once a wallpapered wall in the room. The product worked so well I only used one 32 oz. bottle of mixed stripper so I have most of the concentrate left and have no other wallpaper in the house to remove.

It Made Removing Old Wallpaper Easy!
I used this product to remove some vinyl wallpaper that had probably been in place for over 20 years. Having never removed wallpaper before, it is hard to judge the effectiveness of this product compared to simple warm water or other methods, but it worked. The wallpaper came off easily, leaving little or no residue on the enamel painting drywall underneath. When applied, it worked quickly, with only a small amount of odor. I would buy it again, but luckily, I have no more wallpaper in our 50-year old house.

Good, safe way to remove wallpaper.
It might be better in a spray bottle. But it was an easy application with slings and then scraper to remove debris. Repeat application for trouble spots.

Helps a little
This wallpaper remover definitely helps a little, but doesn't make the job easy by any means. I had to remove just a border trim of wallpaper from a small guest bathroom. Used an entire bottle of this, and ran out before finishing. I scored the wallpaper, sprayed, waited 10 minutes, scraped, scored again, sprayed again, scraped again... etc. It took forever, and at least 5 passes, to get it all off. Once I ran out of this stuff I switched to hot water and vinegar for the last of the glue, and it seemed like the Chomp had been working slightly better than the vinegar water did. But only slightly. So it *does* work, but not well enough for me to want to purchase it again. Needing one full bottle to remove just a border in a small room is ridiculous- it would cost a fortune to do an entire room!I imagine if your wallpaper is relatively easy to remove this stuff would work just fine. But if you've got tough old stuff that was glued on with some special adhesive developed by NASA like mine was, this product isn't up to the job.

This made wallpaper removal easy
The media could not be loaded. Excellent! I was able to remove very cleanly a 3-ply wallpaper with this liquid and the same brand scraping tool. It doesn't smell bad or feel toxic.

Could not have removed wallpaper without WP Chomp wallpaper stripper.
I originally had the product in the white bottle called Wall Wick and I could see I was going to run out, so I looked for it on Amazon and came up with WP Chomp, wallpaper stripper. In the past I have used a steamer but because none of my walls were sized before wallpaper was applied, the wallpaper was put directly on drywall, the steamer worked moderately well, but it was very tedious and took forever as only small pieces would come off at a time. The Wall Wick and WP Chomp really worked great. I mixed the wp Chomp after I ran out of the Wall Wick with water I used about a quarter of a cup per gallon of water in a 5 gallon bucket and soaked these cloth-like sheets that were about 18 in wide and 4 feet long in the solution and then put those soaked sheets on the wall on top of the wallpaper. Prior to placing them on the wallpaper I had used what I call it a, tiger paw, to score the walls and without that scoring, this would be a very difficult job, as it cuts tiny holes in the wallpaper to let the solution soak through to loosen the paste. About every 15 minutes I would go in with my pressure sprayer with the solution mixed with water and spray on top and I did this for about an hour and a half. Then I removed this cloth like paper and the wallpaper came off at a pretty good rate in large sections. Sometimes it would leave the paper backing on the wall and I would have to spray a little bit of the solution and then it would come off pretty easily. In that room which is a regular size bedroom, about 12 x13, it took me about 20-25 hours to get all the wallpaper off and part of that time was waiting for it to sit on the walls and spraying the solution approximately every 15 minutes for about an hour and a half to keep the sheets wet. I could not have done this job without this WP Chomp solution and the cloth like panels that I soaked in it and put on the wallpaper after scoring it. It really works fantastically, would recommend this product to anyone especially to remove wallpaper that was put on walls that were never sized. (Wallpaper directly on drywall). I definitely look for these cloth sheets and in the photos you can see the paperwork that came with them and in one of the photos you can see it up on the wall.
