Winner.
I run the Resmed S9 with the Hi5 Humidifier. One night, she gave up the ghost without warning. My first call was to my insurance, and I learned that since my machine was obsolete at 7 years old, I was looking at a roughly $700 co-pay for a new machine. My intuitive senses all pointed to a failed power brick, but instead of risking $60 for an OEM cord, I opted for this one at $20. Amazon had it here in a day, and it fixed the problem. My only concern is that the lack of the 45 degree fitting on the one end may cause the cord to wear out, but I'll handle that if it happens. It you need a new power brick for your aging S9 - you cannot go wrong with this one.

it may not be the best quality. Although I only tested it for one ...
Seems to work OK. I purchased it to keep in the travel bag in case I should decide to travel and as a backup to the OEM adapter. The outside, reinforced layer of the cord coming out of the OEM adapter is cracked and I can see the black and white electrical wires. To minimize problems, I try to avoid moving the OEM cord around. The entire hook up is a little short. But, that was solved with a cheap extension cord. Obviously for the price, it may not be the best quality. Although I only tested it for one night, so far, no problems.
