Engaging Ideas: The Professor's Guide to Integrating Writing, Critical Thinking, and Active Learning in the Classroom

My single go-to book for new faculty workshops
At my small liberal-arts college part of my workload every year is conducting a series of workshops for new professors on the principles of writing across the curriculum and the integration of faith and learning. (We're a Christian liberal arts school.) For the latter I take the new profs through something by James K.A. Smith. For the WAC, this book is all I need--it's a goldmine of ideas, inquiries, and stories that are great for professors moving from grad student to faculty.

Rating Reflects Condition not Content
The book arrived damaged with no package damage, which indicates the book was damaged prior to being shipped. Expected the book to be in new condition. Instead it was clearly damaged and a significant number of pages had what appears to be water damage and several pages were stuck together.
