awkward for use outside of reading, but for reading text they really work, time will tell if they can improve my eye sight too

Seem well made but I'm shortsighted and I find these glasses awkward for reading. However, I think they would be better for distance.

I decided to try these "just in case" but...The holes are way too big and are spaced way too far away from each other - so when you place them close to your eyes, you're basically looking at a bunch of black with some awkward holes in them - you have to focus everything through one or two holes - it's utterly pointless.Also, the plastic is so thick that the inside edges of the holes, combined with the glossy nature of the plastic means that if there's any off-axis light, the light gets reflected off of the plastic so now you're looking at wall of black with holes with white rings around them.What annoys me is that I paid £5 for these and they feel like those free 3d glasses you used to get at the theatre for free.I honestly don't understand the other positive reviews. Reading with them is just annoying and forget about using them for a computer screen.They don't improve vision or help myopia, astigmatism or corneal haze.Google "do pinhole glasses work" and you'll find a few videos talking about the science behind them and it's pretty clear - they create a short-term optical illusion that makes it seem like your vision has improved - but it doesn't - it's just tricking you into thinking it does.I suspect they make money from these by people trying them and then not being bothered to send them back.Honestly, don't bother.

They did work fine. I bought them because I've had cataract operations on both eyes and can't have new glasses for 6 weeks. My distance vision was fine but for watching tv I need something else. These work really well but, sadly, the arm fell off, it must have been cracked. I'm still using them and won't need them in a few weeks so fine. For the price, and had not the arm fell off, they would have got 5 stars for both doing what they should and price.

These are really useful glasses. They fit well. You can wear them directly or over a pair of glasses.Most importantly, if you are shortsighted, they have the smaller pinholes that really helps to improve vision.Real bargain.
