The ball is of decent quality and good stitching.Good as a spare catch ball.Not used for batting yet

Purchased this white softball to display and had female members sign it. We also used a baseball for male signatures. Never used in ball games.

I don't know what the 6 oz weight means but it throws like a regular softball and it's genuine leather. No complaints.

Develop Arm Strength Fast
My daughter and I started by just having a simple catch for the 1st few days. Than we moved to a longer toss for another week. She than moved to a throw with crows hop for another week. By week 3 her throws from Short Stop to 1st Base went from high looping balls that were coming up short to firing the ball across to the field to the 1st baseman. She we keep working with the ball throughout the season. It will also be a good tool to use while getting ready every pre-season. Worth its weight in gold!
