Works well with Jeep Grand Cherokee but occasional glitches
Works well with the Jeep Grand Cherokee, taking about 30s to link to the Apple iPhone 8+ and then performing the same as if the USB cable is connected, however occasionally the iPhone isn't detected and the adapter must be unplugged/replugged (never links, even after waiting 10+ minutes). Also there are noticeable glitches in the streaming audio (using Spotify) which is a bit annoying though not as inconvenient as having to use a wired iPhone cable every time I guess. Good enough to be useful though, but typical Chinese product quality. Best to just plug in the phone for long car trips.

Despite some skepticism, it works!
I don't often leave reviews, but figured it might be helpful for someone like me. Not much to say, other than it works, and works well. In fact, the wireless connection to CarPlay gets up and running ... dare I say it ... a little quicker than the existing wired connection! During connection, the car stereo shows a 'connecting to IPHONE NAME' splash screen, and then straight into CarPlay, even playing the last played music track (which didn't happen with the original head unit).Installed in a Kia Sorento, which has been retrofitted with an after-market Pioneer CarPlay stereo. Initial connection was trouble-free, firmware checked and is on the latest version, stuck the Carlinkit device to the underside of the dashboard console so it's out of sight. Steering wheel controls are working as normal, sound quality seems the same as before. All functions seem to be working as expected, and button presses are responsive, with little noticeable lag.The device name shows up as a derivative of Volkswagen, which I guess would show where the emulation is coming from, but as above, is working without issue in my Kia.For anyone looking for a wireless solution, I'd strongly recommend this device. I've also added a MagSafe charging puck to the dashboard, so my iPhone 12 Pro can be securely mounted, charging and connected to CarPlay, wirelessly.Great solution, I'm surprised Apple don't manufacture their own version!

Works like a charm!
At first I was skeptical, but after reading the reviews I’ve decided to buy it.The products works like a charm, just connect it to the USB port in your vehicle (where you usually connect your iDevice) and set it up as mentioned in the user’s manual. It does suffer from latency on audio applications (Listening to music, etc…) but it is so low that its unnoticable most of the time.Whenever you turn your car’s engine on, it instantly works and you can use CarPlay.A little bit pricey, but worth it!
