For roughly $20, this journal or drawing book is an amazing price and has good quality. Books of this character at Indigo or Chapters would cost double. Its a thicker book and has a vintage or medival feel. Its worth it for gifting or for yourself. I am glad i purchased this and will do again when its full.

It's beautifully crafted with high quality materials and the design is perfect for me personally.I love the feel of the thick, soft pages and the protection of the flexible wraparound leather cover with the security of the clasp on the front, as well as the convenient 5"×7" size is comfortable in my hands to carry and not unwieldy like a larger size might be.This is the perfect journal for anyone.My own purpose for it is to use it for my book of shadows, or grimoire, and when this one is full I will most likely buy a second one of the same - the only difference might be the design on the front.I'm loving it and can't recommend it higher!

I bought this as a gift for my niece for Christmas at my sister's request. I'm glad that I didn't pick it out because I'd return it. The cover and latching strap may be leather, but it's the thinnest, cheapest leather that I've ever seen. I hope that it lasts thru the year. The journal itself is comprised of multiple notebooks sewn together. The pages are not lined. I do love the design on the outside cover. It's really beautiful, but I just can't recommend.

The cover is beautiful but when I opened it - it seemed like really really cheap something I can’t say is leather. It has a very, very strong scent of gas. I may have to cover it in baking soda to get smell out. I think if I knew I would have purchased something more expensive.
