Update:Replacement was sent the very day we got the broken horse. The replacement was still sent in an envelope, so clearly no lesson learned. Should be in a box like all the rest get sent in. The new little filly is cute and looks great.Thing is, with the way the paint was rubbed off of the broken one and seems others here has had the same problem, I don't think they are made to be played with anymore. If they survive the mail, count yourself lucky and put them on a shelf for looks.It used to be that these things could go through anything for years and still come out of it looking new. In all honesty, I would pay a bit more for that same quality they used to have. It sucks when a kids toy just can't be a toy anymore. Really to bad.I added two more stars for the fast replacement.~~~~Do not buy! This foal came in an envelope instead of a box. 3 legs are broken off soon opening it up. And the paint job is horrid as well. It looks scuffed up as if it had been played with before.This was for a room that I am preparing for a 12 year old girl that we are adopting that loves horses. I can not believe they sent this to me. It is going back.

Schleich has never let me down. I have purchased over 100 animals for my granddaughters and love every one.One thing that keeps me coming back is the # of breeds, species and habits available. I haven't found any breed, genus or species left behind in their inventory. Try to think of any animal, domestic, wild, endangered and even mythical...Schleich makes it, size appropriate, hand painted to perfection. Worth the investment in your Child's fun and education.

I'm a collector, and this wasn't for a child.That said, I like this little filly. She's cute, well-made, and detailed. Wouldn't call any of these guys LSQ, but I'd definitely say they're great for display or play. Mine is kept on a shelf with the other Schleich Clydesdales. Great value for the money!

Theses are nice quality horse figurines. We had our first Clydesdale foal and gave these out as commemorative gifts. Unfortunately, we were limited to purchasing only 3. Our local tractor supply is out after we bought the last. The restrictions on the purchase was the only negative for us.

This product is very durable. The details are awesome and help teach young children how to distinguish between different horses.
