Very reliable product.

My old 38 year old Taco circulator pump for my hot water holding tank finally met its demise. I did some research and found they no longer made the exact model to replace it. I decided to go with this model hoping it would work (price was worth the chance). Since the old pump had a vertical design and threaded fittings.. there was some redirection of the plumbing and had to sweat copper pipe into the pump itself. From that point unions, Pex, or Sharkbite fittings would all work fine. Once everything was in place and the tank was refilled with water I kicked on the power and was horrified that it didn't work at all. It was so quiet I didn't realize it was running over the sound of the boiler, until I put my hand on the motor and could feel it humming away. It works perfectly and keeps up with a long hot shower without any problems whatsoever. It has been almost 4 months since I installed it and it is still quiet as the day I installed it.

I used this pump for hot water recirculation in a recently installed residential closed loop system .The pump seems to be working properly allowing hot water to be accessed quickly from the farthest outlet from the water heater.The operating temp seemed higher than I was expecting but plumber said it was normal. Thanks for supplying this taco pump hopefully it will continue to perform as expected .

Works very well... it was a replacement of an older pump of another brand. That pump was long burnt before I purchased this house.This pump came with all parts, it’s solid and something that’s last if not poorly used. I connected a smart receptacle adapter and with it I programmed to turn it off during wee hours of the night. I believe it’ll help its life span
