Used for repainting small leather barstools, Colour is great. The surface is a bit sticky now but didn’t bother me.

Wow! I got some cheap used chairs (green) and hoped that a product like this existed. Within five minutes, my chair was transformed. This stuff is phenomenal but I do have some pointers (I painted four and screwed up a bit on one). Put several thin coats on and make sure to put the paint on the brush and spread (don’t put any drops of paint on the furniture or thing you’re painting). It dried really quickly and took three light coats.I only used 1/2 of a 4 oz bottle per chair. I ordered six bottles so I might just go paint my couch while I’m at it!I have an acrylic coating it suggests to add after you paint. I will do that but for now, after just drying two hours, the chairs look brand new and the paint is pliable like leather. It even has the same feel as before I painted it.

I tried this on an ottoman before I used it on my sofas. I didn't know to mix the 1st coat with water, but so far it looks great. IAlso tried it on a terrible looking fake leather cushion after treating it with bond n flex and it looks almost as good. I was about to throw the pleather sofa away. I think I will try to fix it instead. I just wish I could get bigger bottles than 4oz. If it winds up not holding up, I will update my review.

This stuff worked well. I was able to transform a chair the cats had destroyed into a matching living room furnishing. This product isn’t supposed to be used in isolation though: I had to order two bottles of it and 2 bottles of the thinner, and one bottle of the glaze. The thinner never really mixes into the paint, so it looks a bit streaked in places, however it’s barely noticeable. I wouldn’t have used this to change the color of an expensive new piece, but it was perfect for saving an old chair headed for certain doom.
