I'm new to saxophone playing, but just out of the box, it made a rich smooth sound. Elegant looking, and all valves work fine. Right out of the box it is ready to go. Looking forward to playing my jazz.....

I purchased this saxophone on 12/7/20. It was delivered on 12/9/20. This is a honest review. This saxophone exceeds my expectations. Everything the company said about this saxophone is true. I also purchase an Eastar AS II back in November. It was not good at all. Pieces started falling off within a week. That's why I decided to buy the Heche. I can honestly say that I am 100% satisfied with this item This is not a paid or promotion review. I am a honest buyer and this is a honest review.

I currently play Alto Saxophone in a University marching band and had been renting my sax, but I wanted to finally have a sax I could call my own. This sax is NOT IT! It is very cheaply made and not at all worth the money spent. The sound is terrible compared to what I have been playing and the machining on the neck piece of the sax that goes into the main body is rough and obviously done by someone that doesn't know how to machine very well. (I say this as a person that has previously worked as a machinist so I have a bit of knowledge on this trade) The instrument doesn't even feel right, almost a plasticy feel and it is clear to me that this sax will not last very long for any student that plays this instrument on a daily basis. I have had this instrument for less than 3 hours and I have no need to keep it any longer as it will only go down hill from here. I will be returning it and getting my money back. I am very disapointed. It is not made in America but it is an American company that apparently has these poorly made instruments made in China and then shipped back here to stamp their American company name on it so as to tack on an excessively higher price tag than the quality would dictate. I have had better quality toys at a tenth of the price than this sadly dissappointing instrument.

I am definitely a beginner. I was looking for a well made instrument and chose the Herche because is was advertised as a U.S. product. Though it bears the Herche printing on the side, the bottom rear clearly states Made in China. I do not plan to return the Sax as it does seem well made.

This was an upgrade from a student saxophone. It works very well and and has a sleek design. The buttons are each to push and the sound is amazing.

Sax had great tone quality and easy fingering.

I was happy and my son as well. He feels he will get many years of use out of it.
