Have tried in-ear underwater headphones before. These are much better and nicer to use. Folder system not the best. I made 11 folders from zero to eleven and made sure the first song in each folder is a “number” mp3 which says “one” or “two” etc. That way I can find my way around my music easily. Controls are not intuitive- but once you learn the basics it’s very easy to use the headset. Some reviews worry if they will stay on in sea water etc. I have tried to jump, swirl and toss myself around to check - and never “lost” them, so I would not hesitate. Five stars for something that really works well underwater and is easy to maintain and bring with you.

Got this device for a couple months (roughly 2) and used it for running.I thought its decent device given that audio is quite good, IP68 and more light weight than predecessor. Unfortunately, it didn't survive during summer time here in UAE, middle button get busted easily causing to headset stop working.This is my 4th headset didn't make it during summer time. Hopefully purchased amount will be refunded.

These bad boys far exceeded my expectations and then some! I mean you can barely feel them on your head, which can be a little disconcerting, i tried them for the first time today, but i didn't have the confidence to try them without a swim cap on, however that is purely down to how ridiculously light they are.You put them on not really sure what to expect, tap the button to turn them on then tap the other button to turn on swimming mode, i didnt really notice much difference until i stuck my head in the water and then BOOOM the magic happens. Its louder with your head in the water than out! Having music to swim to increased my timing and speed. With their design you don't need to worry about ear buds falling out your ears, or music being too muffled from the waterproofing. You could easily listen to a podcast on these things. I am absolutely in love with these.There is a downside that you can't use the likes of play music/itunes on here and there is no bluetooth (which doesn't really work with water anyway) you connect to your computer with usb cable and drag and drop mp3's into the folder. I discovered loads of mp3's in my amazon music account from previous cd's etc i'd bought.Are they pricey? Absolutely. But oh my days i can't describe how fantastic these little things are. If you get the opportunity and feel the urge (and are a regular swimmer bored to tears swimming laps) you really should buy them. You won't regret it!

Despite the excellent quality of the hardware and excellent performance underwater, the functionality for playing back tracks in a predictable order is missing. Since I purchased these in order to listen to audiobooks while swimming, this major shortcoming makes the product not great for this purpose.I have audiobooks divided into chapters with files names prefixed with numerical sequences to indicate the chapter. On a computer, when they are sorted, they display in the correct order. The normal behaviour of such MP3 devices I have used in the past would be to play back tracks that are contained in a single folder according to an alphabetical sequence. This device seems to play the tracks back in NO DISCERNABLE ORDER. So you'll hear your audiobook play one random chapter at a time. While this may be tolerable to those audiobook listeners with a taste for postmodern fiction, anyone hoping to listen to books with a coherent narrative structure will be deeply disappointed!The included manual does not address the playback sequence at all and the online guide from the Aftershokz website: (HOW TO UPLOAD AND SWAP MUSIC ON YOUR XTRAINERZ) which one would assume to have a clear answer instead offers the following elusively unspecific advice:"Do you have a playlist order in mind? Organize your audio files in the drive until you get it just right. You can also create folders and playlists if you want to toggle between music, audiobooks, and podcasts on the go. ""Organize your audio files in the drive until you get it just right"!!??!The instruction to "organize" doesn't provide any detail as to how to actually go about the task. When filenames ARE organized in a way that any mathematically literate person would assume to be a correct order, the devices plays them in what I can only describe as random order:"Chapter 1", "Chapter 14", "Chapter 2", "Chapter 16", "Chapter 17", "Chapter 3", "Chapter 25"While I would love to endorse this product since it otherwise seems to be a great quality build and offers excellent audibility under water, this major shortcoming makes them not great for their customer base who wish to listen to audiobooks (a usage which is specifically mentioned in their marketing material.) I know this is a new product so there may be kinks to work out and I hope this frustrating lack of functionality will be fixed in subsequent models.***UPDATE***I contacted the company to resolve this issue and while they weren't able to provide a solution to the track playback order issue. They are apparently working on it but yet to release any details about the firmware that could correct the issue. However, they kindly offered to send a replacement model, the Aeropex, which I love been absolutely loving. The company clearly makes excellent products and is concerned about their customer satisfaction so I look forward to when I can purchase these once they have resolved the issue.

No more staring at floor tiles for hours on end. Its brilliant. Other reviews say it cant skip or rewind songs. It can, and more. You can set up folders for eg fast paced music, slow music or chat shows etc. You can pause it so when you stop at the wall you can chat to other people. Take the time to read the manual to learn what it can do before giving out on reviews! It comes with 4 preloaded songs which I deleted straight away.. this does not mean it is second hand like other people think it says this when you buy it. I was nervous spending so much. In my first session one headphone stopped working and to cut a long story short it was just that song in particular and it was from the 1980's I downloaded from YT and converted to an MP3. Just search for Youtube MP3 converter and you can download anything on youtube into an MP3 file and then transfer it easily to this device. Love, love, love this. I couldn't be without it now!

When I bought these I wasn't sure how well I would get on with them, I have a pair of Aftershokz running earphones which work well so was hoping for the same results.So after charging them up and transfering MPs to the earphones after reading the instructuions which are simple and easy to follow, I was ready to hit the pool.Got to the pool, popped them on, hit play and then put my swimcap and googles on - all fitted fine. In fact you don't notice the Aftershokz are on - well apart from hearing music.First test I did was doing a simple bubbles sink down drill - well the music play back takes you to a completely different place. As soon as your head goes beneath the water the quality of the music and bass tones is brilliant.I would recommend these headphone for any people doing swimming training as it makes the sessions so much easier and more enjoyable.I've used them 4 times swimming for roughly an hour per session - and they are still working on the initial charge. so I'm confidant that the battery light is around 8'ish hours.In terms of how secure they are, very. I've used them on a speed drill and they stay securily attached to my head :)

Fantastic Mp3 player, this is my second one the first one had a fault after 13 months, Amazon refunded me with a gift card so I bought this one , utterly Fantastic sound quality makes my swim much easier
